Todd Tetreault is an MFA graduate from the Dodge College of Film and Television at Chapman University with 10 plus years of professional industry experience as a SAG-AFTRA member.
He started as an actor, appearing in several TV shows and independent films, ultimately making it to the big screen in the worldwide release of PAPA (2016). Spawned from his athletic lifestyle, military career, and love of Jujitsu, he ventured into stunts and broke out as a stunt performer and stunt double in Seal Team (CBS). Recently he co-starred and did stunts on ABC’s hit show The Rookie.
In addition to continuing his acting and stunt career, Todd is enterprising his producing career with multiple projects. Currently, he is in pre-production as producer and a lead in the short film, The Fire Within; a heartfelt story about a firefighter battling PTSD and the struggle between moving forward or being consumed by grief. On the documentary front, Todd is providing creative input and appearing on two different projects documenting the recent LA Fires. Todd is also working as an executive producer and lead on an upcoming crime-thriller, working along side top tier cast. This feature is currently in pre-production, and set to film May 2025.
Working alongside his brother, Todd is passionately developing a collection of meaningful projects, including a documentary, a short film, and the feature film Cudgel, based on the true story of Medal of Honor recipient Sammy Lee Davis. These projects, profoundly important to him, aim to illuminate a dark chapter in American war history while exploring powerful themes of courage, hope, and love, even in the darkest times of war.
He served active duty in the Navy. Originally unassigned, he worked multiple jobs: an F-14 plane captain, firefighter, base police, VBSS (visit board, search and seize), as well as electronic warfare and cryptology.
After his best friend Rodrigo was killed in action, Todd was motivated to serve once again. He joined the Air Force Reserves doing transportation and logistics. While serving this branch, he competed at the World Armed Forces Championships with the All Air Force Wrestling Team.
With a strong desire to continue serving his country as a leader, Todd joined the ROTC program at California State University Fullerton, while obtaining his MFA from Chapman University.
As a commissioned officer in the Army National Guard, Todd continues to serve his country within the Military Intelligence branch.
When Todd is not on duty serving his country, he serves the state of California as a Type I Wildland Firefighter and Strike Team Lead for Joint Task Force Rattlesnake (JTFRS).
JTFRS is a California Military Department joint task force that works alongside Cal Fire in order to help mitigate and prevent wildland fires through fuels mitigation projects and direct fire suppression.
Todd has led crews for three of the eight locations across California; recently his teams provided crucial aid and emergency firefighting services in the devastating 2025 LA Fires.
Following his active duty, Todd fell in love with acting, theater, and
the silver screen. He then attended Fullerton Community College
obtaining an AA in Liberal Arts.
While in the reserves, Todd graduated from University of California Irvine, with a BA in Drama, graduating Cum Laude.
As he completed ROTC, Todd attended the Dodge College Film and
Media program at Chapman University, where he obtained his
MFA in Producing, with a 3.7 GPA.
While attending Chapman, Todd earned the Katie Weinstein
Memorial Scholarship for Producing, where his name remains
engraved on the plaque in the Marion Knott Studios.
